As a result, customers are able to gain fast, frequent, and efficient insights and make decisions with confidence. **About the Role** As a DevOps Engineer, our team is tasked with owning all DevOps concerns for our growing startup. As this role will be required to make decisions that impact beyond the DevOps department, good communication and empathy skills are essential. The person in this role will be working closely with other product/engineering teams to design cloud native software and maintaining infrastructure security. The successful candidates will possess solid knowledge of DevOps best practices, Linux and open-source software, and have experience managing cloud-native applications using infrastructure-as-code (IaC) technology. As we are heavily-dependent on real-time machine learning, these responsibilities have some novel characteristics and should present interesting challenges for the right candidate. **Daily and Monthly Responsibilities** - Managing and extending our cloud infrastructure, CI/CD system, and monitoring facilities - Collaborating with our product/engineering teams to design cloud-native software and maintaining infrastructure security - Improving and maintaining a highly-available machine learning data pipeline - Expanding our extremely high-volume real-time conversation platform - Improving our architecture and infrastructure to remain modular, maintainable, and performant **Skills and Qualifications** - 3 years of professional DevOps experience - 2 years of experience using Infrastructure-as-Code tools and processes to build and configure cloud systems (Terraform) - Extensive Google Cloud Platform, AWS or Azure experience - Experience managing Kubernetes-hosted applications and services - Expert experience using and managing Linux operating systems - Expert scripting experience (BASH or Python are preferred, but others will be considered) - Expert experience managing CI/CD systems (Jenkins, GitHub) - Ability to set up, configure, and manage all aspects of these CI/CD systems - Broad experience using open-source DevOps tools and familiarity with other tools in the greater ecosystem (GitLabs, OctopusDeploy, Ansible, AKS, Veracode, etc) **Preferred Qualifications** - Previous professional software-engineering experience OR previous professional IT / cloud admin experience - Google Cloud Platform experience strongly preferred **The Benefits of Working with Remesh** - Medical/dental/vision coverage - Work from anywhere in the US! - Remesh Equity - 401k Retirement Plan - Yearly educational stipend for Engineers - $500 one-time use work from home allowance (WFH)  - $150 monthly stipend WFH stipend - 28 days of PTO annually **Here is a video of how our product works** - Minimum Salary $120,000 + Benefits + Equity + Learning Stipend
