We are a team of Explorers, Builders, and Change Makers democratizing the complicated world of behavioral healthcare for therapists and clients alike.   **How you'll make an impact ** As a Software Engineer I, you will be involved in enhancing our product to better improve access and utilization of behavioral health services. In this role, you will continue to develop your software development skills, learn our stack, best practices and code base. You contribute meaningfully to the team by working on defined problems with guidance from experienced engineers.  **Success looks like ** - Completes tasks within expected time frame - Writes clean code and tests, iterating based on feedback - Work in a team to provide backend design recommendations for new and existing projects - Collaborate with teammates and stakeholders to deliver a solid product - Compile and analyze data, processes, and codes to troubleshoot problems and identify areas for improvement **What you'll do ** - Write code, test, and debug new software - Make enhancements to our existing product from clear requirements - Participate in code reviews and identify basic issues or deviations from best practices - Develop knowledge of assigned solutions, technologies, and development processes **What you'll bring with you** **Key Competencies ** - _Critical thinking:_ Ability to look at situations from multiple perspectives.
